Faultless service on MK decarb project

SJD is on a mission to help local companies in Milton Keynes to reduce their carbon emissions, so we were delighted when CI Systems Group, who are automated shading manufacturers to the AV sector, asked us to install a government funded twin electrical vehicle charger.

Companies can apply for £500 funding per socket through the Electric vehicle charge point grants – GOV.UK scheme.

Works manager Kris Manning explains how SJD can advise on all aspects of EV charging: “We help companies identify the correct location and type of socket for their needs. We would need an idea of the type of cars to be charged because all vehicles have their own built-in capacity. Most companies will opt for the largest capacity. Speed of charge is also an important consideration.”

SJD will guide you through the process, and it’s not just businesses that are eligible, landlords, schools and homeowners can all apply if they meet the criteria.

Rob Scott who leads operations at CI Systems in Bradwell Abbey was so impressed with SJD’s service, he said: “I just wanted to say thanks again for a great service from start to finish with SJD, I would say faultless on all fronts, great comms at quote stage and appreciated your knowledge and feedback to all my questions asked.  The lads who installed were both very polite, courteous, and just got on with their work with no issues.

“People are very quick to complain so I just wanted to make sure to give positive feedback on the great service and job done by yourself and your team.”
